por las calles de madrid, sin nada que decir.
Sometimes it isn’t about choice, it’s about necessity. Sometimes, because of job and life restraints you can’t choose to go to work only when it’s daylight and come home before it gets dark.
Sometimes you have no choice but to walk through a poorly lit area.
Sometimes you have no choice but to take public transportation and wait in the dark under a broke street light for the transportation to arrive.
Sometimes, despite everything we’ve done to protect ourselves the unacceptable happens.
Sometimes its an uncle, a sibling, a parent, extended family.
Always we can say no but that does not mean they will accept that answer.
We can fight them but always there’s the chance we will be overpowered.
